The addition silicone resin refers to the silicone resin crosslinked and cured by catalytic hydrosilylation reaction of the base resin containing SiCH=C pressure and the polysiloxane crosslinker containing Si-H group. It is used as casting material and encapsulation material without bubbles and sand holes, has stable size, excellent heat shock resistance, is suitable for the impregnation and encapsulation of electrical equipment, and is also used as a protective coating for high-temperature adhesives. It usually consists of four components: vinyl silicone resin, hydrogen containing polysiloxane (hydrogen containing silicone oil), diluent, and catalyst.
This silicone resin does not release small molecules during curing and will not produce bubbles or trachomas during use. Additive silicone resins usually do not contain solvents and have mild curing conditions. Suitable for making coatings, casting materials, impregnating materials, encapsulation materials, adhesives, etc.
Raw materials and preparation
(1)Hydrogenated silicone oil is a crosslinking agent for addition molding silicone resin, usually consisting of low degree linear or cyclic methyl hydrogenated polysiloxanes and methyl phenyl hydrogenated polysiloxanes. The compatibility between the base resin and hydrogenated silicone oil is poor. In order to improve their compatibility, suitable special organic groups can be introduced onto the silicon atoms of hydrogenated silicone oil.
(2) Diluent Diluent is used to regulate the viscosity of silicone resin products.
(3) The catalyst used is mainly chlorolead acid. Other forms of lead compounds can also be used.
(4) Vinyl silicone resin Vinyl silicone resin is the basic resin of addition silicone resin, its molecular structure and preparation method are like peroxide silicone resin.
